Reflection

Over the course of 5 years, I lived with my family in the Loveland community and I was completely blindsided by the epidemic that has been occurring in my community. I was never exposed the severity of the problem, so it made my experience surprisingly more interesting than I ever thought it would be. The community research has opened my eyes to a lot more cultural and historical knowledge that helps me strength my understanding of Loveland. The research has also shown that the heroin problem that is arising in the greater Cincinnati area is extremely concerning. I have found the experience to be very enjoyable because I have had so much success finding relative and informative information in the sources provided. Although it has been quite difficult to try to find a time to travel to my community, I finally was able to shift around my schedule and head up there this upcoming weekend. It has been hard to decide exactly how much footage I need to include to fill a five-minute video and it has been hard to find a video camera to take good video because my video camera is in Georgia. Even though there have been some obstacles, I have found the project to have succeeded in many ways at the same time. I think that after I have gathered the right footage and incorporated the information, the project will be tremendously compelling.
